It's trader news time!

Posted by Cherry Pullinger on

Can you believe another week has flown by? It’s been busy, busy. Just how we like it!

New traders

From next week we’ll be welcoming Naomi from The Crafty Shepherd, who creates beautiful animals with needle felting wools and fleeces from her herds of Alpacas and rare breed sheep. Naomi and her daughter were featured alongside Kirstie Allsopp on Channel 4’s Kirstie’s Handmade Britain for their needle felting skills.

We’ll also be saying ‘hello’ to Toodlepip! Pip started her businesses after the birth of her daughter and sells upholstered storage boxes, bookshelves and children’s lampshades.

We’ve got the pleasure of introducing Rachel and Steven from Grace & Favour Home this month too. They have their own textiles studio, designing and making interior accessories and gifts, so do check out the unit when you’re next in.

And last but not least, we say ‘hello’ to Alex from Alex Williams Textiles. Alex is a textile artist and printmaker, creating fabrics inspired by colours and methods used in traditional African and Asian fabrics.

What’s the latest this week?

We’ve some fab handmade cushions in stock from Ooh I Like That Design. Really interesting patterns that would look fab in any home.

If the kids need a bit of entertainment during the summer holidays you can pop on down to Peter Pipkin’s unit and check out the range of traditional toys. No batteries or screens in sight!
If it’s a treat for yourself that you’re after, how about one of these funky necklaces from Bird Modern Vintage? They come in a 16 inch silver plated chain.
If you need something to carry your shopping home in afterwards, you could always pick up one of these jute shopper bags from Crump & Co. Super stylish!
Mouse House Interiors currently have some gorgeous Durham style quilts/bedspreads and pillow sets. They are made with cotton micro fibre, are easy to wash and quick to dry and are available in double or king size.
