We’re diverting from the norm this week to bring you our super special low down on what went on at last night’s charity tea party here.
Our trader Nicola from The Flower Tree hosted a demo and taught attendees how to make gorgeous summer wreaths. She focused on the use of foliage and flowers, so people would be able to make them easily at home. Here she is with the end result – simply gorgeous!
Lots of our traders were in attendance too and were more than happy to stop and have a chat with anyone interested in their products.
Overall it was a fantastic event. A big ‘thank you’ also goes to Runnington Fruit Farm for their very kind donation of strawberries and Gundenham Dairy for the donation of cream.
We also couldn’t have done it without the teas and coffees provided by Café Works so a big thank you to Jacques too!
The money raised for the Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment (S.U.R.E) – Beacon Centre, which is a very worthwhile cause, is still being counted and we’ll update you on that soon.
If you’re not in any of these photos, then next week we’ll do a Facebook album of pictures from the event so pop back soon to our social media to spot yourself!
